Environmental Compliance Policies
Waste Management
All packaging (cardboard, plastic, wood) from equipment deliveries is recycled or returned to suppliers where possible. End-of-life batteries are returned to manufacturers for responsible recycling (per supplier agreements).
No-Go Areas
Goletrik will not install solar systems on ecologically sensitive land (wetlands, forest reserves, protected areas) or on sites requiring tree felling exceeding 5 trees per installation.
Emissions Reporting
Annual greenhouse gas emissions reduction will be calculated using the methodology in Section 2.3.3 and reported to investors.

Goletrik advances resilience, productivity, and inclusion by providing dependable energy where it is most needed.
Our installations aim to restore 8–12 hours of productive uptime daily for small businesses currently receiving less than 2 hours of grid power.
At least 40% of financed systems target women-owned or women-led businesses.
Clean energy allows cooling equipment to run reliably, reducing heat-stress downtime by an estimated 30–50% during peak-temperature seasons.
Supporting the creation of a 1 million–person solar workforce across Africa within 10 years.
Social Safeguard Policies
Community Consent
For installations on premises shared by multiple businesses (e.g., market stalls, shopping complexes), Goletrik will obtain written consent from all affected parties.
Labor Standards
All contract installers must sign a code of conduct prohibiting child labor, forced labor, and discrimination. Goletrik conducts periodic spot checks.
Customer Protection
All contracts are in plain English (and, where requested, Yoruba or Igbo). Customers have a 7-day cooling-off period after contract signing. Complaints are logged and tracked to resolution.
Governance
We maintain rigorous governance systems that ensure transparency, safety, and confidence for all asset owners.
Each investor can track 100% of their contribution from funding to installation, deployment, maintenance, and yield.
Investors receive monthly yield reports, uptime logs, and financial performance summaries.
Every funded asset is maintained to deliver a minimum of 98–99.5% uptime through O&M and insurance coverage.
100% alignment with Nigerian energy, tax, insurance, and data protection laws, including 2026 updated tax codes.
Anti-Corruption & Ethics Policies
No Bribery Policy
Goletrik prohibits payments to government officials, DisCo employees, or any third party to influence business outcomes.
Transparent Reporting
Investors have read-only access to the Goletrik platform for real-time monitoring of asset performance, revenue, and expenses.
Conflict of Interest
Founder and any future directors must disclose any potential conflicts annually.
